MEET DR. BROWN
I am a board-certified child/adolescent and adult psychiatrist who specializes in supporting individuals with neurodiversity including autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, and genetic differences like Prader-Willi Syndrome.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
I graduated from the University of Rochester with an MD with Distinction in Research, and the University of Oxford with an MSc in Comparative Social Policy. I then completed psychiatry residency and child/adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt, and a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities fellowship at Children's National Hospital.
EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE
I am the Medical Director of the Center for Autism at Children's National Hospital, and the psychiatrist at a residential school for youth with intellectual disabilities. I strive to provide strengths-based, affirming care to children, teens, young adults, and their families.
SERVICES
I provide medication management and consultation to children, teens, and young adults in person and via telemedicine. I am out of network with all insurance companies.
